Nice review, really made me laugh...Heihachi on a bus, absolute genius! Having played both Tekken and Streetfighter quite a lot in the company of some very distinguished reviewers ( I always won, he lied unconvincingly) this does look like a good blast. There are defo some aspects of Tekken controls I would miss (sidestep...counter... beautiful) and some I wouldn't (murdered by Eddy Gordo mashing buttons anyone?) I always found the Streetfighter IV graphics engine to be a bit temperamental as well and as for online play, never once won, they're all soooo good.

Hah, so true. We should form a fight club, with just us goons in it. That way we will never lose a match. I mean someone will. It will be me, wont it? Damn!

Give me Hwoarang and I'll take on anyone :D Oh wait, not on THIS game but maybe on Tekken 3 ;) The 6-button scheme on this one is a bit confusing to a die-hard fan of Tekken...

Dr. Hypnotic! Glad you could join us. Yes, the old classic of sidestep and throw that so elegantly dealt massive damage versus a charging opponent is sorely missing.
Tero: Tekken 3 is, in my opinion, one of the absolute high points of
videogaming in all of human history. It's close to perfection as a fighting game. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy Street Fighter x Tekken, but I'd way prefer the Tekken-flavoured one that's coming out only on consoles.
Felix: Tekken 3. Playstation 1. 8-character randomly-selected Team Battle. THAT, my friend, is how Tekken is played. We should make it happen some time.

Couldn't agree with you more, Tekken 3 is the ultimate fighting game (Gon ɛ) ;) I have personally purchased ever single Tekken game since T1 (excluding the PSP exclusives) and I've never felt being ripped-off. Although T6 did some major (and not very welcome) changes to all my favorite characters move-sets... :(
