I've been thinking about writing a hardware review for some time now but didn't really figure out what should I write about. After seeing how much attention my beautiful earphones have been getting, my choice became obvious. Here you go fellow GD'ers, my review of the most manly earphones ever created.
First thing you notice when you open the cute pink box is the size of the earphones, they're so small. This of course means that they're portable and easy to take with you (if you dare to be seen with these). At first I was afraid they might not fit my head but luckily you can adjust them to fit even the biggest of heads.
The earphones look good and especially the hand-stiching on the handle looks great. The overall material quality is excellent apart from the cable that feels like it can break easily.
While testing the earphones I couldn't help but notice how good they sound. Every sound played is clear and recognizable and the bass is spot on. While playing Battlefield 3 for example, the explosions sound just like in real life with deep bass.
When it was time to take a break from my testing, I noticed one major issue with these earphones. They hurt your ears. You can't feel it when you have the earphones on but when you remove them after a long period of gaming, the pain kicks in. Maybe it's because the earpads are so small or maybe they're just too 'tight'.
Conclusion: Coloud Hello Kitty earphones have excellent quality for it's price (a little over 20€ in Finland) but for players/music lovers who use earphones for prolonged periods at a time, the pain might be too much to tolerate. I've gotten used to it so it doesn't bother me anymore. Plus these earphones make you feel like a real man.
