Written by: darknatexs - 15:31 Nov-06-2017

Intel and AMD are finally releasing a a cpu/gpu combo a thinner, stronger combo that will provide better graphic performance in smaller package to allow thinner designs or thicker batteries. Will be a cpu/gpu/HBM package.

Intel has posted this themselves. What do you guys think?

I hope it's the beginning of a great relationship between the two…. and I hope AMD spends the money wisely on their graphics division where they seem to run out of steam at the high end trying to compete with Nvidia.

I realized it's probably not a joke and I'm looking forward to seeing the final result in real benchmarks,
though I'm pretty sure this is only worthy for laptops and other portable devices, it might be an interesting breakpoint in portable performance architecture

It's meant for portables. It's an area where Intel and AMD have traditionally had trouble alone but together should provide a better experience.

Wccftech has a nice article that goes into more depth and has some early benchmarks.
