Windows doesn't use Ready boost instead of pagefile.Page file is necessery for some programs to run properly.
Ready boost is used as cache memory i use it also.
Why to use flashdrives if hard drives are faster?
Yes they are faster but they have 10 time longer response time.
So you will wait 10 times longer for your application to even start loading in case of Hard Drive.
Optimal ready boost cache is RAM x2.5.
To gain more boost use more than one usb flashdrives in order to separate speed
you surely want 20x2mb rather than just 20mb.
For example it is better to use 2x4gb than 8gb.
Put every flashdrive in different USB port Hub.
DO NOT use memory cards they are way slower than flashdrives.
You won't see much benefit if you have 4GB RAM or more.
Hope this can help a little.
Tzzmsk page about this is called:"Speed up your system!!!"
