Windows 8, still months away from release gets criticized by Valve's CEO that considers the only problem holding back the development of Linux is the lack of games, reports Forbes.
"We want to make it as easy as possible to run the 2500 Steam games on Linux." Newell believes that Windows 8 is a "disaster" that will cause some manufacturers and OEMs to disappear from the market. Therefore, and to prevent further damage, Valve will begin to migrate the gaming platform to Linux.

The question is how Valve will proceed to convert those titles they retail, but do not own or develop and do not have a Linux version.
Gabe Newell believes that the emphasis given to tactile screens is short term and that the keyboard and mouse will remain stable for 25 years. The touch, in turn, will only remain around ten years and after the “era” touch, the controllers should be integrated into clothing or in accessories that you can wear such as bracelets, for example.
