Written by: cham0d - 01:24 Aug-08-2012

Treyarch has revealed a multiplayer trailer for the next title in the highly popular franchise, Call of Duty. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

A few days ago, Treyarch actually confirmed that the multiplayer reveal trailer will be announced on August 7. Right on schedule it is here so lets take a look at a breakdown of the what the trailer has to show...

There were many features, weapons, are going to be on this upcoming Call of Duty title, So here are the thing that we were able to analyse from the multiplayer trailer that was released today:

A sonic wave type turret which allows you to distract your enemy in front of the turret with a sonic wave.

A.G.R. tank received via an air drop - A.G.R. Tank iself is a drivable robot with guns built in to it.

Knifing action doesn't seems to be no longer performing with a one click of a button, as in previously Call of Duty titles. The knife action seems to be performing almost as a gun, You have to pullout the knife and then perform the knifing action. Anyone heard or remembered of  the term, 'panic knifing'? Is so, there won't be any 'panic knifing' in this installment.

New weapons - Looks like Black Ops 2 will feature wide range of new weapons, shall we take a look at them?

PDW-57 MMS - A SMG type rifle. Was equipped with a futuristic looking red dot sight during the trailer.

LSAT - A Light machine gun. Been equipped with a Hybrid Scope during the trailer.

Chicom QCB -  A SMG type rifle. A customized version one was used during the multiplayer reveal trailer.

FHJ 18 AA - An anti air gun. Can be used to take down enemy kill stream (air kill streaks o be precise)

AN-94 - An automatic assault rifle that was originated from Russia.

Raging Judge - It looks a lot like the 'Python' hand pistol from the previous sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops. But looking at many reviews and images for this gun, it seems to really bigger than the 'Python'. Probably will be the largest pistol from the pistol section.

OSR 50 - Judging from the way it performed during the reveal trailer, it should be a bolt action type sniper rifle.

Ballista - Looking at the way it performed and appearance, it might probably will be a bolt action sniper rifle as the OSR 50.

M1216 - An automatic shotgun. While in the reveal trailer, it has been equipped with a red dot beam.

M8A1 - An assault rifle that was features in the multiplayer trailer.

MK 48 - A LMG rifle. On the trailer, it was the rifle that was used by enemy who gets killed by the person with the 'Raging Judge'.

Combat Knife - As I mentioned above, knife will be available as a separate weapon and you have to pull it out and then perform the knife action.

Tomahawk - Yes, the famous tomahawk is back! This was last seen in the previous sequel. But now has an all new design that will blow your mind away.

Shock Wave - Seems like it performs almost like an EMP, but this makes a shock that paralyzes enemy for a moment and not allowing them to shoot.

'Dragon Fire' Quadrotor - Expected to be available as a kill streak. Quadrotor will be player controllable.

Also, it looks like the traditional sounds/audio will still be returning, which are similar to the previous sequel. These sounds are actually quite different by a lot than in any other installments of the Call of Duty, if you listen to them closely.

Kill Streak meter/progress bar going along with a newly design improved HUD

A new game mode - 'Multi team' Team Death match

Tactical Insertation with a new futuristic design

Dive to Prone/Dolphine Dive, which allows for players to get down quick is back

Better Assault/Riot shields - the new assault shield will allow the player to put your shield on the ground and while it's on the ground, you can shoot through the hole that is on the shield at your enemy.
