What Pip Really Got

As you guys read on my previous blog post, I had something on my mind. I talked with our dear Tero and we came up with an ultimate budget gaming rig. 

However, and I have known that since I was little, things never go the way they're supposed to, even if they are planned carefully. You never get everything you want in life and building a new rig is not an exception.


Here is what I really got:

CPU:  Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz (still subject to change, depending on special offers at time of purchase)

GPU: GeForce GTX 660 Ti WindForce 2X OC Edition

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
 
HDD: Samsung HD501LJ(my old HDD from 2008)
 
Motherboard: ASUS P8H77-V LE
 
PSU: Cooler Master GX 650 W

Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II V2


I would like to know the opinion of my dear buddies. You can expect a new blog post with tons of pictures of my beautiful rig and of me, finally holding the most beautiful GPU ever: GeForce GTX 660 Ti. It's gonna be an awesome experience!

Submit A Benchmark

I would put a slightly less powerfull processor, like a i5 3550/70k or a i5 2500k, and put that money on a good gpu, like a gtx 670 or 7970. the rest is ok, but with that processor and that gpu you will regret (only in a couple of months) to not have spent that few bucks in a better gpu.
I bought a gtx 670 windforce for 350€, it costs a lot but... in the end of the day im happy i can max out every game i play with AA on max and good fps.<br

It's too late for advices now,It was a while since Pip started to enjoy his sweet rig ;)
To regret? His rig is far from regretting, GTX660Ti isn't good enough?
GTX 670 is only 6-10% better than 660Ti.

Damn they say the gtx 660 ti is priced 300$ but when you look at the price over here and convert it to dollars its nearly 510$.I so hate when things get way overpriced over here.Was looking forward to this card but now all hope is lost. :/

The case seems to only in an one colour, so adding more colours in to it will make it beautiful as a rainbow! Your 660 Ti will appreciate it. :P
