Ever wondered what are the best weapons in Fallout: New Vegas? Or how to find them? Well, this article will surely answer your questions.

First off lets start with the best Melee weapon

-Knock-Knock

You are probably wondering how it got the name. Well the reason it was named "Knock-Knock" is because its actually a reference to how firefighters in real life use fire axes to break down locked doors in burning buildings to rescue people trapped inside.

It is found in Camp Searchlight's Fire Station. Once you get the key from Logan, head upstairs and search the bathroom stalls, look in the right side corner of the stall with the skeleton to find the Knock-Knock.

(You can kill Logan and get the key, but you'll fail the quest "Wheels Of Furtune")



Secondly, the best Sniper Rifle

-Anti-Material Rifle

Delivering a high power shot at long distances with great accuracy, this rifle is one of the best sniper rifles you can find in-game.

You can find it at Gun Runners when you reach a high level (16+).
Also, in the second Hoover Dam battle, many of Caesar's Legion use this rifle.

-Gauss Rifle

This rifle has numerous advantages over its gun equivalent, the anti-materiel rifle. It has a lower Strength requirement of 5 compared to 8, does slightly more damage, has double the critical chance (a maximum of 76% compared to the 38% of the anti-materiel rifle), and weighs less in both ammunition and weight. Its ammunition is also more common than .50 caliber rounds.

It can be found at Brewer's Beer Bootlegging, one may be randomly found in the hard locked gun case in the cellar.
You can also buy it from Knight Torres in the Hidden Valley Bunker

Best Semi-Automatic gun

-All-American

It is highly accurate, reliable and powerful with its fast rate of fire, making it one of the most versatile weapons in the game. This versatility includes the wide range of 5.56mm ammunition types.

It can be found Vault 34 armory, on an overturned table to the right side of the armory.

Fianlly, the best handgun

-Mysterious Magnum

The Mysterious Magnum is a unique .44 Magnum Rounds that plays the Mysterious Stranger's theme whenever it is drawn or holstered. This revolver features a silver finish with intricate engravings etched all around the weapon, a pearl grip, and a significantly faster firing rate than a normal .44 magnum.

It is owned by the Lonesome Drifter, who is sitting in front of the Sunset Sarsaparilla billboard next to the highway just east of El Dorado Dry Lake and north of El Dorado Gas & Service. It can be acquired by passing a barter check of 50 during the Talent Pool quest or can be looted/stolen from his person.
