a4-3400 APU, amd phenom x3 8450 or i3

Now im not asking for much all i want to know is without any awkward questions or answers, which one is better out of the two, not taking the apu's gpu into comparison. Just cores performance. The Llano Lynx a4-3400 2.7GHz dual core OR the Phenom x3 8450 OR i3 with the built in graphics.

On pure CPU power the i3 is best.

ok thanks thought no one would answer so i went and played it safe and went with an amd phenom 2 x2 3.1ghz 550 unlocked to a quad core slightly better than the phenom 2 x4 945 without overclock it can reach at least with a bad mobo 3.6 ghz wanna get a board with oc genie to get the best bang

Good find. An unlocked 550 is great value and a pretty decent CPU

altough be warned, only about ~30% of the phenom II 550 unlock to a quad core, so check if you have the budget to but a real quad core like the 965 BE
