Hello Everyone,
So I was thinking about upgrading my ancient 9400GT to the GTX 550ti
I was reading up on the card;its specs and requirements
I have a PCI Express 2.0X16 slot so no problem there
But my power supply is only 380W..and as per the nvidia website the GPU requires a minimum of 400W, So my question to you is do i need to buy a better power supply as well?
If it matters here are my specs:-
Pentium Dual Core E5700 @ 3.00Ghz
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 512MB
and my monitors max resolution is 1280X1024(so i wont be running anything beyond it)

It should be ok. Check the amperage on the 12V rail first though.
