i want to play diablo 3

i can play the beta but super slow. I was wondering what i should do in order to play the game. I currently have

asus A8N-E motherboard
AMD Anthlon 64 3000+
1.5GB ram
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE

My computer knowledge is not that great, what would i have to do to my computer to play this game or is it not worth it to do the upgrades?

Your pc is quite old. I would rather sell the pc and start from scratch! New mobo, cpu, ram and gpu. I do not know if you have a usable case and psu for a new setup. So maybe upgrade those aswell if it is unusable.

You are in the market for a completely new pc. Nothing is worth saving except for maybe your HDD for your data but I won't run your next PC on that old hard drive.

I say i5 2500k with 7870 or 6970 or gtx 570 look for msi twin frozr III OC models. Where are you buying from? Just giving an opinion on cpu and gpu. I am not so great with mobo's. You can get 8gb DDR 3 ram for cheap and a 600/650w ocz or coolermaster psu with that. You can get a normal harddrive or cheap ssd with a normal sata harddrive. Just throwing ideas at you. Do you need a case and an optical drive? Do you need a screen aswell? Keyboard and mouse are not too expensive unless you are looking for gaming equipment.

the best way would be to cut off minimum requirements and let everyone play game by buying only the game. not computer. i always play games with low, fair, medium graphics. why i have to play hight quality graphics if i want to play it with lower graphics. how long this computer's advertises will end? Game as a product will make great cash, and ever one will want to play it ( as i do) and they will see that they have crap computers, and just buy a new one, which you recomended and whats Blizzard part from these computers? how much they will get? a big line of recommended computers. its funny and sad at the same time for me. in m country where computers are TWO times more expensive than U.S and It is clear that we earn TWO times less. so how we supose to start on this game. i think if would try i should work for that kind computer like 2 months and eat dirt or something else which is free! ever one knows that dirt is free. then maybe i could play the awsome game later!
