video card upgrade

Postby kibruce » Fri Apr 27, 2012 3:12 am

Hi everyone,

I'm really excited for diablo 3 to come out. I played the beta last weekend and it was amazing. however my computer performance...was not (averaging about 15 fps on low settings). I want to upgrade my video card and power supply.

This is the computer I have:

These are the components I was considering:
GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814121474
PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139028

Are they compatible, and will it run diablo well?

thank you for your time

Hello, i just want to sai that im very sad for those high requirements, becouse i got a LAPTOP( you know about what i mean) . I cant udernstand if i can play World of warcraft - Cataclysm which recommended 3.0GHz, why i cant play Diablo III, i just paid money for that game Key. and i have no chance to play it. i think i will be not alone with such situation... MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IS JUST TOO HIGH! now every one is thinking of buying a new computer! this game is selling computers now? im not a millionare thats why i dont have a such powerfull computer... MY THOT IS THAT.... MANY PEOPLE WOUNT BUY THAT GAME, IF THEY CHECK THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FIRST. im not that smart so i bought the game first... so i think only i will be the lucky one who bought and not played the awsome game!

Sincerely Diablo game fan.

From all of the info you gave me, it looks like everything is compatible. And once you've upgraded the card, you'll have more then enough power to run the game well. And also, you're probably safe with going with a 500W power supply, unless you intend to crossfire.
