I would say the desktop is a little bit powerful than the laptop, so go for the desktop and I'm sure it can handle
Guild Wars 2, Aion, Tera, and League of Legends perfectly fine.

Yeah, that's another advantage of a desktop. and a disadvantage of a desktop is it takes a lot of space than a laptop.
