Diablo III Rig Question

Hi all,

Sorry if this is pretty repetitive - I've been away from PC games for a long while.

I am running a rig that looks like it pitches somewhere in between Blizzards 'Minimum' and 'Recommended', but the GD site suggests I'm in trouble.

Any views on this?

Intel I-5 2400 3.1ghz
GeForce 8600GT
Windows XP Home
3 gig DDR3 667 MHz

It appears GD doesn't rate that GPU as good enough, yet it appears to be above the minimum spec. Also I had thought if the other components are well over recommended this might help.

Is it worth taking a punt on buying D3 or am I in the market for a new GPU here?

Also does upgrading to Win 7 make any difference?

Hello.
Remember we are yet to adjust the system requirements based on user feedback. Right now I think you have a good chance at low settings. Maybe even medium settings but almost for sure low settings. /P
