slow motion problem in games

Postby faseert » Tue May 22, 2012 7:04 am

Hi!
Yesterday i bought Street Fighter X Tekken, installed it on my notebook and noticed that the game runs in slow motion. Even on lowest settings, which is very strange for me because Super Street Fighter 4 AE worked perfectly on this machine. Now I installed Super SF 4 AE too and just as i feared, that game runs in slow motion too, and every 3d softwares or applications slowed down. It's not like a frame rate drop, it's like bullet time or matrix. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, getting the newest drivers, disabling running processes, but nothing helped. CPU and GPU usage are on normal levels btw. I've searched a lot for a solution but didn't really found anything, that's why I ask here.
I'd appreciate any advices or tips for this problem!

Sorry to hear about that. Post up your rig details or link back to your GD main profile so people can see what rig you have and hopefully someone can help you.
Just to say, often developers/publishers state that they do not support all notebooks. Usually only testing on desktop hardware.

Just like Felix said, in order to help you, we need to know your configuration. I bet you have a chipset..

I have an Acer 5732ZG with Intel DualCore T4500, Ati Radeon HD545v, and 3GB RAM.
The real problem here is that for some reason all my 3d softwares are running in slow-mo. Even those which used to run perfectly...
