Intel I5 3450
Arctic cooling freezer 13
Nvidia GTX 550 Ti 1GB looking to get 1GB EVGA GTX 550 Ti SuperClocked, 4514MHz GDDR5, GPU 981MHz, 192 Cores, 2x DL DVI-I/ mini HDMI
Acer AL1913
i also want to know if my GPU and CPU will bottleneck so if i do i might purchase cpu oveclocking or upgrade my GPU I'm a first time gamer and i want to be able to play shogun 2 and Bf3

Your CPU is way more powerful than your GPU. Frankly the 550 ti is very good at all.

Definitely better. I don't know what your budget is but if you can work a 7850 into the budget that machine will last you a good while.

With the 7770 you would be putting a $200 CPU with a $130 GPU. The rule of thumb is the GPU should be a bit more expensive than the CPU for a gaming machine.
