Ditto that! The only COD I've played was the third one and it didn't do anything to make it stand out from any other shooter for me. Ever since Modern Warfare 1 came out and received all that hype I've been waiting for the price to come down and give it a go but it's still a full price game!
Well then, young Danny, you may be interested in some of the mods I've just listed in the 'Mods & Patches' section in Dragon Age's game page. Here be the link... http://www.game-debate.com/games/index. ... %20Origins
There are loads more though that I haven't got round to adding to that page yet, but I will do. Mark my words. Actually don't mark them - they may get lost in the new Stalker game.
I havent played dragon age origins but if it is so good i will certainly give it a try.But I believe that the best game of 2009 is Star Wars the force unleashed
Borderlands, hands down the best game of 2009 imo. I really enjoyed the whole mad max world, limitless weapons, unique graphics, and awesome gameplay. I haven't gotten around to the expansion packs yet, but I plan on getting those soon.
Ah, Borderlands! That was, IS, good. I haven't grabbed the expansions either - I think the newest of them sounds best though. What was it... The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, that's it. It sounds like it may add some decent stuff.
Damn, I think I may even have a game of it right now.
Seems like 2009 is getting a revival. I missed out on Borderlands. Not sure it would hold my interest long enough, although the art does look sweet. I get the idea that it offers a kind of Diablo style addiction when it comes to loot grabbing and yet it is actually a fast paced 3rd person shooter. Does that sound like a fair description? Cus I am starting to think maybe I could bring myself to give it a blast. Is it to be had cheap anywhere?
