GTX 680 PSU enough??

Postby eidnaj » Tue Aug 07, 2012 11:48 am

My specs:
Mobo: Asrock 870 Icafe V2.0
Cpu: phenom II 1090t x6 3.2 Ghz @ 4Ghz (corsair H80 cooling)
RAM: 2*4GB pc1280
HDD: Seagate barracuda 2TB
Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
PSU : Recom pro engine A600 (600w)
I'm planning on getting a gtx 680 from gigabyte. Will my psu be enough? I checked the website from gigabyte and they say 550w minimum. But i don't know wat that means. Is it just enough to start your system or is is enough to play high end games (100% gpu load). And i also have a overclock cpu @ 4Ghz.

You guys think 600w will be enough?

A 600w good quality psu should be fine. I do not know that brand so I can't say yes it will be fine or no it won't. Usually cheap no name psu's do not perform like they should. But again, it is not always the case and I do not know that brand.

If I look at the link, I think you might be fine.
