i3 2100 for sure! the 1156 socket is dead. get a H67 board with thte i3 2100 and youre good for a year or 2 and you wuill have the ability to get an IVY bridge cpu next year.

First gen core i3/i5's are by and large discontinued, you can get the odd i5 7XX chip which is good but still invest in a socket 1155 setup for longivity.

if youre looking at the i5 7xx chips you better turn around and look the other way... AMD phenom are just as strong as them and there quite cheaper and you can buy a board that will support bulldozer+piledriver.

Avoid all 1156 setups, they are discontinued for a reason. If you had a 1156/P55 setup or something already the i5 760 is relative to the 2500k, just nowhere as efficient as SB architecture. Similarly avoid bogging down in the old Phenom II architecture, you will regret it in two years when you have nowhere to go.

If anything the i3 2100 is the best of the options listed.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813130609

Has USB 3.0 support, rather cheap and offers enough for a budget level board, if you can pair this up with a i5 2400 and GTX 560Ti, you will get considerable performance. With a i3 it will play just as well. Another bonus of the board is that they are so cheap, if you are to sell down the line you won't lose all value.

For Memory you are limited by the memory bus to DDR3 1333, it is hardly a train smash, look at 2x2GB sets or 2x4GB sets. Gskill Snipers, Wintech, Corsair Vengeance are have solid PC10600 RAM.
