PSU and Graphics cards

Postby larkj94 » Mon May 28, 2012 5:44 pm

So I just got a new PC and it only has a 180 watt PSU and I've been told that's not good enough to handle any 2gb graphics cards (I'm looking for a 1-2gb card). So my questions are the following:

-How can I upgrade my PSu
-What would I need to upgrade it to/with
-What 1 or 2gb graphics cards could I run on this computer - Lenovo H330 Click Here and look under "product details" for the specs;

4GB RAM i3 2120 3.3GHz processor and integrated direct x graphics card (only 56mb)

Basically all you have to do is find another PSU that is the same size. The PSU you have is likely ATX size but you can upload a picture for us to look at if you are worried. Selection another PSU, buy it, when you get all you have to do is unplug the old one, remember which types of plugs go where, make a check list and take pictures if you are brand new to it, plug in the new psu and you are good to go.

The type of card you would put in will depend on your budget though I wouldn't go higher than a HD 7850.
