Possible GPU database comparison mistake?

Postby WeaponPanda » Thu Jan 05, 2012 7:58 am

Hey,

I have an Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 2GB DDR3, and when i mouse over to the 'user's rig' icon on each member's post on various topics, i see that people who have Radeon HD 5650 or near equivalent cards, it says that their card is more than 150% better or higher than mine.
What i mean to say is that the GT540M (by fact and reference)is slightly faster than the HD 5650. So I feel totally outdated and outcast with the 540M.

But isnt the 540M a reasonably fast mid GPU?

Heres a reference where it states the same(performance section). I have more links.

Im not saying that the Nvidia is better than Radeon. Im just trying to clear out my doubts. Forgive me but please don't take me wrong.

Thanks in advance!!

The percentage comparison on the site is not accurate.
