in that budget i think you should go for the cheaper japanease tablets , they cost around 200$ and they offer pretty good parts . something like the ainol brand or other cheap tablets.
they do all the basic work just fine and they cost pennies.
if you want to go for a good tablet get the new eee pad tranformer 700. its quite pricier but it comes with the tegra 3 HD IPS screen and from a good company.
