3D Mark 11 Score

Postby reaper15058832 » Wed Aug 31, 2011 10:19 am

I just ran it to see how my pc is doing...I got P4779 :(
Is it good? It feels crap?

I run a i5 650 @ 3.2 stock
GTX 570 Ref Stock
4gb Kingston HyperX 1333 (I don't know how to get it to 1600 - if I turn d.o.c.p or something like that on in my bios, it goes up to 1600 but not sure if thats a good thing to do, I am not an overclocker)
I wish the forum had a signature where I can add my specs.
I ran the performance default test.

So I set my profile to D.O.C.P and my QPI went up to 3840 and my turbo boost was disabled, so no more clocking to 3,4ghz. But my ram went up to 1600. Ran 3d mark again and got a score of P4885. But my processor rating went from 7.1 to 7.0 in my windows index. What is the best setting? And still would like to know if its good or not?

D.O.C.P and QPI - what are these? :) I think that 3,4GHz and 1333 is better than 3,2@1600, but I dont have a similar PC to test it more

I went to install 3dmark 11 to run it for the numbers and to give you something to compare to but I have been having issues with the program. For some reason when I try to run the benchmarks its says I am missing .dlls. Once I figure that out I'll post my bench marks.

Closed my monitoring aps and got 4905. And it gives you a bell shaped curve of everyone with the same cpu and gpu. I am just above the middel of curve.

I got P5683, everything @stock clocks and 3DMark 11 Professional Edition 1.0.2.0 default settings. I also checked my Marks with the old i3-2100 and I got P4782, practically the same result as you :D

Oh;
i7-2600
HD6970 DirectCu II
12GB 1333MHz DDR3
Same specs with the i3 ;)
