Hi! I have seen GD on google from time to time while browsing games requirements, a few times used a bar to calculate my pc specifications. Later I realised that GD have a great and vast database of games and their details, and I was too lazy to fill my pc form as a guest over again, so then I created my account just to be very suprised of actual GD size and all the functionality.
It realy is awesome for anyone well acquainted with games - you can build up a list of every game you've played, create a personal top, manage your rig, look for hardware, explore articles, etc...
Seems like every aspect of this site have proven useful to me one way or another, for example with help of original articles I reviewed a list of games I was interested on, but what is most important - GD's "can I run it" calculation is incredible! It saves a lot of time trying to figure possibility to run a game by your own and is very accurate.
So thanks to google for constantly pointing me on GD and great thanks to all GD staff for making and keeping this site such great as it is!

Found GD by searching BF3 specs and review. Used the site a few times before making an account. :)

I founded this site because I didnt feel like anyone was helping PC gamers in the way that they could, especially when it came to making the most of the awesome or diverse hardware PCs can have.
I now love the fact that many other like minded people have joined in, sending feedback, adding their frame rates, setting up forum threads like this and get to use the tools I have built.
Spread the word guys, there is lots more great stuff still to come.

And Chamod, you haven't told your story of how you found GD.

If I remember correctly, my story goes like this:
I was looking for a website that could tell me if I could run some game on my old laptop. At that time I had tried the "Can you run it?" and Futuremark's system comparison tools, but the selection of games wasn't large enough for me. From Google's search I probably got on Game-Debate, but not knowing about it, I didn't stay for long - probably a few days in the end of February 2011. In the end of March 2011 I once again stumbled upon Game-Debate, but this time I decided to explore it further, and that's how it all started :)

I feel that ever since I joined this site, I have become a much smarter person in regards to computer hardware - to be honest I couldn't tell the difference between laptop and desktop graphics (I though memory was all that mattered), and it always made me angry how "Can you RUN it?" told me I can't run games on Intel 965

It started one year back, I was really into computer stuff and I wanted a place where I can help other people. I went to tom's hardware, singed up and started answering questions, I'll be honest, the admins were really rude and unhelpful at most cases, most of the members just copied pasted answers from other sites so they can get thumbs ups, and when I expressed my sadness towards the admins they banned me without even replying back. Same thing happened with other several sites.

Till one day I stumbled over game-debate, an unknown site (at the time), but seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, so I made an account, and went to a game's page and answered a person's question about whether he can run the game or not, and guess what? 5 minutes later Felix sent me a message expressing his enjoyment of my contribution to the site. I was overjoyed, decided I'm gonna stay at GD for a long time.

The thing is game-debate is different, I feel like we are a family here, me, Felix, Cham0d, Tero, SauceBoss, Pip, Mark, incrysis, Taherookie, Terminato and all other great members.. It's truly a great site, and I hope we stay like this forever

I <3 Game-Debate

Thank you Felix

Well, my story goes like this,

Back then, I wasn't a PC person, I mean not good with component and system requirements stuff. I was randomly browsing through Google to find system requirements and to learn more about them. Then suddenly, I came to this site, not to the site itself, to a game page (I exactly don't remember what was the game's name). I was scrolling down randomly on that page and noticed the "Can I Run tool" I picked my system from it and I saw this "(Login to change)" on the screen size, so this is where I signed up for the site. Then, I found out I can't run it :(, few days after I noticed there was a forum for Game-Debate, never used any forums before either, so I tried asking few/two question about upgrades for my rig, after few minutes *bang* I got lots of replies replies!!! :) :) :) . This is where I started visiting GD, most likely everyday, then I had lots of fun and became a GD'er :D. ;)

GD is awesome and there are lots and lots of cool people that you can have fun with, also great helpers! :D :D :D

This is where my story ends. :) 8-)
