Opinions on current popular online FPS'?

I've recently built a kick ass system and want to give it a go in HD online gaming. But the games I used to play are seriously out dated now with plenty of empty servers and no atmosphere (CS:CZ, 1.6). Need some hardcore FPS games with full servers and the new CS release is too far away for my liking! I've had a little look into ARMA 2 but I just don't know how full all the servers would be cos its getting on a bit!

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

FPS U say? I'm sure u must've heard of Call of Duty MW3 or Battlefield 3. Both recent releases and still a rage amongst gamers(like me on BF3). U can find thousands of 'filled' servers to your content on both. Since you want to go multi-player, BF3 would be a better choice( a personal opinion ). About Arma 2, Man that one intense game but I moved on so not too sure about it's servers being full. Arma 3 is on its way so u can buy Bf3 now(29.99$) and then go for Arma3 when it releases and when it does, you will most probably have a problem of finding a server to play on

If you want something free you can go for blacklight retribution, very nice graphics and even directx 11 settings.

Thanks guys, think I might have to invest in a bit of battlefield 3 if its as good as I've heard. Very demanding game though but I think my rig'll pull through haha!

I downloaded blacklight retribution and I cannot believe its a free to play game, I mean, I would willingly pay for the game if it wasn't for the rare yet annoying bugs that pop up!

I've been vacant from gaming since this post but back now for some hardcore sniping on fps'!

ArmA 2 is good if you like tactical shooters, it takes a while to get use to.
Still some full servers and a great mod community.
