Hexcellent news. Jesus, I can't believe I just said that! Seriously, I'm so unbelievably excited by this news that I'm going to keep cracking jokes like that until it's finally released. Actually, I can't think of any more right now - I'm just too excited.
Hex-based, eh? Looks very good indeed. Can't wait to hear more news about this. About kicking arse though... I'm rubbish at Civ. But, my GOD, do I love being rubbish at Civ.

That looks pretty darn cool. I loved Civ II and it kept me entertained throughout my years at university, hence why I didn't buy or play III or IV. But this, this looks special.
