It says in the description which cpus it supports. You cant put your old cpu on am3 mobo since only amds go there (athlon II's, phenom II's...), like Lga 1155 is for i-5 2500k, i-7 2600k, theres also the 1156 socket and so on. Point being that you need a mobo with LGA 775 socket. Ang again i would reccomend not to waste money on aged boards

Well since it can wait dont buy old board, get enough money and get a CPU/mobo combo deal, might save you some cash. Its pointless to buy outdated mobo and you cant even upgrade the cpu later if you want to.. I kinda said not to buy it 10 times alrdy rofl im repeating myself a lot

If you are not planning on buying a new CPU you have to buy a socket 775 board.

So that means you need a 775 socket because otherwise your current CPU won't work. But again I think upgrading your old mobo to another older mobo is a waste.

damn it, i started with a new gfx, then i have to have a new PSU for that, but i also need a new mobo to play without bottleneck and finaly, i must buy a new cpu cuz my old cpu won't work, in short words, i have to change allmost every componement :D
