Hey guys, Big month for gaming with mw3 and skyrim and a few other big titles being released on the PC, anyway to the point.
Below are my current RIG specs.
Would my RIG be able to run Skyrim on High settings, smoothly, at 1920x1080 with this setup.
It always helps to get the Pro's opinions. ;)

Computer System - Exponent Chaser
Case- Thermaltake MK-1 Chaser.
CPU - AMD Phenom ll 965 Black Edition @ 3.4Ghz, OC @ 3.8Ghz.
GPU - 2 x Gigabyte Radeon HD6950 1GB OC Edition in CrossfireX.
HDD - WD RE4 500GB Primary and Maxtor 250GB for Backup.
Input - Logitech K320 Keyboard / Razer Abyssus Mouse.
ODD - Lite-On Combo Drive.
PSU - CoolerMaster GX750 Watt.
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3, 9-9-9-24.
MOBO - Gigabyte 990FXA UltraDurable-7.
Audio - Turtle Beach X-41.
CPU Cooling - Corsair H60 Hydro water Cooler.
Miscellaneous - GOW and BIOSHOCK Figurines as well as a
>>>BATMAN Mousepad<<<.

I think your rig is fine for high settings.

2 OC'd 6950s? I wouldnt pair that with the phenom... It will work fine but for that price a 2500k and a gtx570 should be dooable.. The second 6950 is totally unnececary id go for a single card anyday, but dont let this make you think it wont run stuff coz it will, im just sayin what woulda been better

What he is saying....single gpu càrds are always better than dual
Gpu cards or xfire or sli. Only because of compatibility issues. So your rig is fine, but with a very strong card you need strong cpu, but like he said your rig will run fine.

He can always disable one if he gets microstutter or other issues. Proper drivers will come along someday.

Thanks guys for the detailed replies, I was wondering that if I were to upgrade my cpu from the 965 BE X4 to the 1100T BE X6, would it bottleneck as much as it does when the 965 BE X4 is used???
