Need Advise PLZ!!

So I was recently in the market for a radeon 6850. Unfortunately I don't have the funds for one. And my question is would 6770 be an alright alternative. I don't need the games to be maxed out just enjoyable. And would it be a good idea to eventually looking at crossfire with it to play some newer games.

yes, the hd 6770 is the best way to go on lower budget
