Bottleneckng

Can someone tell me if I'm having a bottlenecking issue. I'm a computer novice and I just got a new video card but it's not performing well in some games and I really want to know why. My specs are...

Intel i7 860 2.8ghz
Nvidia GeForce 560 ti PNY overclocked edition
8gb DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD

SWTOR and Batman Arkham City are running very fps laggy and stutters while games like KoA Reckoning, The Walking Dead, and L4D2 and most of the time Skyrim are running pretty well. Any help would've appreciated.

no you don't have any kind of bottlenecking...check the drivers & check that there aren't too many programs running in the background ;)

You sure its that simple? These games run like crap and I've tried a lot of stuff. One of them is GameBooster which shuts off background programs anyway but I'm still gettings fps drops and stuttery gameplay. Just to give you an idea, I'm idling right now and it says in my windows task manager, 90 processes, cpu usage at 1% and 25% physical memory. I also wanted to bring up the GPU usage. I'm not sure what it SHOULD be but when I'm gaming it usually goes between 50-75 %. One more thing before I forget haha, my PSU was not mentioned above, its a 500w with all the certified stuff and the guy at geek squad said it would be fine with this card.

I just want to make sure I'm telling you EVERYTHING so i can figure out the problem lol.

Arkham City will run crap if you use dx11 because there are issues with that game and dx11. I do not know about the other game and also do not know if there is a patch to fix this in arkham city. Don't stres. Your pc is fine. If you can run skyrim fine....your pc is fine!!!!

I turned DX11 off in Arkham City from the start, still bad. I just find it hard to believe that Arkham City, SWTOR, and now DC Universe Online all create choppy gameplay experiences with the specs I have. I don't know what it is but its just odd and I don't think it should be considered "fine".
