What PC to choose?

Postby Despot7 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:39 pm

What PC to choose for futureproof, so i can settle down i play latest games for 2-3years.
BUDGET:650-660e
AMD:
MB: 870-C45 - 55e
CPU: Phenom II x4 965BE 3.4GHz - 100e
GPU: 200e - do i buy 6950 2gb and to unlock bios to 6970 or to buy 7850 2gb because i saw 6970 beats 7850 for 3-5fps
HDD: WD 500GB - 60e
PSU: 80e didn't choose yet
RAM: 4GB Kingston 1333Mhz 20e
DVD/RW: 10e
Keyboard: 10e
Case: 38e
Monitor: 21,5" 1920x1080 80e
TOTAL: 653e

Intel
CPU: i5-2500k - 190
MB: iz68 - 76e
GPU: 200e - from amd chooise above ^
HDD: WD 500GB - 60e
PSU: 80e
RAM: 4GB Kingston 1333Mhz 20e
DVD/RW: 10e
Keyboard: 10e
Case: 38e
Monitor 21,5" 1920x1080 80e
TOTAL: 764e Way over my budget

Do i remove gpu of 200e and use integrated hd3000 or to remove monitor of 80e because i already have one with 1280x1024 that don't work properly(restarts all time) Without GPU price of Intel PC will be 558e with monitor, and when i will remove monitor price will be 683e with gpu. so i think is best to buy without gpu and use hd3000 one month and when i get money to purchase gpu?

EDIT: About PSU idk what to do because in my country there is no XFX and Corsair PSU's on market so im left with Cooler Master GX, Cooler Master Silent pro,LC Power,Chieftec,ThermalTake and alot of bad psu's. I want to buy decent psu for 80e(9500 dinars) on this site http://emmi.rs/napajanja-i-dodatni-vent ... goryId=219

Go intel. The i5 2500k is a lot better than that amd cpu. Go 7850 because it is newer technology. Those 2-3 fps is a very small difference.

You said you would wait one month before getting a GPU, why don't you wait for that one month to get the whole rig? One month is not long.

In terms of the rig if you get the i5 and 7850 it will last you more than 2-3years if you put 8 GB of ram in it. 4gb is already barely enough.

Thank you guys, i will wait to get whole rig at once. I looked for z68 V motherboard from asus http://emmi.rs/mati%C4%8Dne-plo%C4%8De-(mb)-mb-lga1155-iz68-asus-p8z68-v-lx.11.html?productId=18268

before i mentioned iz68 gigabyte http://emmi.rs/mati%C4%8Dne-plo%C4%8De-(mb)-mb-lga1155-iz68-gigabyte-ga-z68p-ds3.11.html?productId=17111

Which one do i pick for i5 2500k and 7850 for better OC? I think Asus wins here but u are professional so tell me, difference in price is 2e more for asus. I also mentioned PSU because i don't know which one to pick because in my country there is no XFX or Corsair. PSU link http://emmi.rs/napajanja-i-dodatni-vent ... goryId=219
bare in mind that i will be maybe just maybe getting 7870 or 7950 if a wait bit more cuz its better choise. I will be O'cing i5 2500k to maybe 4.0GHz and GPU for a bit more so what motherboard and PSU you suggest. Thank you, it means alot! :P

Go with this PSU.

The MOBOs are pretty similar so which ever you want. The Gigabyte supports crossfire so you may want that later on down the road. SO if I had to choose I would go with that one.

Thanks TherealYeno. So you think that this PSU http://emmi.rs/napajanja-i-dodatni-vent ... ctId=17632 can be effective same as this one http://emmi.rs/napajanja-i-dodatni-vent ... ctId=23891
maybe i will crossfire 2x 6870 or 2x 7950 deppending on budget but let say that i will be using 2x 7950 in CF which one of these youl pick? Does that asus board don't support CF or SLI at all? I'm thinking that it will be good that iz68 gigaby support both Crossfire and SLI. This question is in my head for about week: When i buy PSU like ThermalTake ToughPowerXT or Seasonic 650W when it want to die does it shuts down and don't damage any other components because if it does damage i don't see point in buying PC. IS it give some sign like to it needs to be replaced?

EDIT: Do you think this PSU http://emmi.rs/napajanja-i-dodatni-vent ... ctId=22733 is better then a ThermalTake ToughPowerXT 675W modular?
