Oh my God I can't wait for this. I want it right now. Right now, do you hear?
Is it really true that this game has been delayed 2 years (Wiki link)? What happened, could they not find it?
I just can't get into any game like this. Dunno why - I was born to be Bond/Bauer. In computer games.
I'm a fan of the Metal Gear series and other stealthy shooters, but I'll hold my hands up and admit I haven't played any of the Splinter Cells since the first. I have vague drunken memories of falling off a roof lots, then throwing the controller against the wall. Maybe I should pick one up cheap - anyone got a recommendation for which one?
Best one is probably Double Agent. That's my tip. They're all kinda similar though.
Cool, cheers Squee. As soon as I clear my back-catalogue, I'll check that one out.
I heard a rumour that this is going to be 360 only now. Is that... I mean, can that really be true? First Alan Wake, now this? Why is this happening to me? Was I a mass-murderer in a previous life or something?
Even the official website says '360 Exclusive'. Mind you, most games these days come out on a console ahead of the PC version. Look at Force Unleashed - that console exclusive is apparently coming to the PC at some point in the future. Hell, even Alan Wake will come out eventually I reckon.
Consider the plastic living room toys BETA test machines - most things come out on the PC after a while and nearly always infinitely better.
'Exclusives' these days are about as solid as a candyfloss wall in a rainstorm. As Phats said, almost everything works its way onto the PC in time. Have faith Squee - and if they **** us over, just take that sword and stick it where the sun don't shine on those mo fo's...
Well then. Good. News on GD is that Conviction isn't being canned after all. I'll calm down.
Heh, its rage like that which will keep the publishers from axing the PC. So you keep it up and they are surely to think twice if faced with the wrath of Squee.
Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Look at that, look! I want to play it!
It appears that they listened to my rage after all. I better clear my diary for all of April and May!
Indeed they did. Well played Squee
I thought I ought to just let my fellow ATI card users know there's a BSOD bug in the current code. If you're suffering from "Page fault in non-paged area" bsod messages after every five minutes, the best solution is this (prototype) ATI driver:

hi buddies i had losten my save game by an accident.
pls anyone send me all save gamesof splinter cell conviction in
mirayhan95@gmail.com pls pls pls :) :) :)
i cant play it without internet anyone have any solution??????
Hey Rayhan, I believe Ubisoft makes back ups of your save games automatically when you quit out of the game, so you should get them back next time you connect.
Sadly Ubisoft has decided to screw over paying customers by forcing them to connect to their servers to play - the only way to get around it is to pirate the game or install a hack, which is illegal and the very thing Ubisoft was trying to prevent. The big numptys.
awsome stealth and gameplay
i played solinter cell Double Agent on Ps2 and that was awesome
And Conviction must be awesome
Has anyone had issues with Ubisoft servers crashing? I know this was a big problem when the game first came out. Is it still an issue? Thanks!
