It is the middle of the 16th century in Medieval Japan. The country, once ruled by a unified government, is now split into many warring clans. The player takes on the role of one Daimyo – the clan leader – and will use military engagements, economics and diplomacy to achieve the ultimate goal: re-unite Japan under his supreme command and become the new Shogun – the undisputed ruler of Japan. Set during the golden age of Samurai warfare, Shogun 2 brings to life the most turbulent period of Japanese history.

i love this game but for some reason i play about 5 minutes on it and a message comes up saying shogun 2 has stopped working i'm using the same comp i was using when i last played this game and i could play for hours and nothing would happen the only thing that changed was my OS from windows 7 to 8

i dont know this will be my first build im budgeted at £500/$600 for pc and shogun 2 gold edition. after looking at some reveiws these parts were best for my range but ive found nothing on i3 3220 playing shogun. but this gpu kills shogun ive seen an i3 play skyrim max settings thats a cpu heavy gam

an amd fx or an i5 would be the most suitable for such a game.
also, do not forget about the cpu and ram factor, plus resolution.

i have a 1080x1240. i just need a cpu for total war games the ram is fast the gpu is fast but the i3 only has 2 cores i thought shogun 2 cant effectively use more than 1 core? if so i3 3220 core beats fx 6100 infact it beats many 3.3ghz but im not sure if shogun uses more cores if so any suggestions

i know the cpu can handle the card on battlefield 3 farcry 3 on high and even cyrisis 3 on medium settings the thing is total war games are are different from all these. any way my budget is £500 or $600 all a want is the best shogun 2 gold experience what pc would you build dont need screen or DVD.

also what would it take to max all settings including anti aliasing x4 and antistrophic x16? and all the check boxes ticked? not overkill ex. an i7 with gtx titan. but something thats value for money and gives just what you need to simply max all specs on 1920x1080?
