DOTA 2 is available on PC
Co-op Game
DOTA 2 has a co-op mode so you can play with your mates on the same side, usually through the main story mode
Online Only
DOTA 2 can not be played without constant online access. This could be due to security reasons or because of the nature of the gameplay
MultiPlayer
DOTA 2 is designed to be played with other people or it is heavily bias towards that type of gameplay
Online Activation
DOTA 2 can not be played without first activating the game online. Once activated the game may be playable offline. If our Online Only button is also highlighted then you will need constant online access
Downloadable Content
DOTA 2 is intiailly released as a download. It is usually an expansion pack so check to see if you need a main game before getting this. DOTA 2 may be released in the shops at a later stage
Free Game
DOTA 2 is completely free to own. Possibly a browser based game. There may be an alternative means of generating revenue, perhaps in-game advertising or monthly subscription charges
Back of the Box
A Valve backed sequel to the very popular Warcraft 3 mod, Defense of the Ancients.
Confusingly, the official remake of the mod was called Heroes of Newerth and released earlier this year after a long Beta period. Heroes of Newerth and defense of the Ancients suffer from the incredibly steep learning curve and noob slamming. Our reviewer Squee reviewed Heroes of Newerth earlier this year and had a tough time as he was new to the game.
Valve are getting into the project to try and level the playing field with their player matching server skills.

DOTA 2 or Defence of the Ancients 2 to use its full title is being backed by Valve to make it more accessible to new players. DOTA was a very popular mod years ago with a very serious fan base which made it very hard for new comers to enter into the complex game and have any chance.

Yeah two things:
1. This game is better optimized for Intel integrated graphics versus AMD integrated graphics… My HD 4000 manages 40+ fps on high at 1366x768
2. The only lag I get is because of crappy net connection… Check your net connection and see if it has problems…

A Celeron Dual Core is enough to max out this game (with the appropriate GPU of course)… But as for HD 3000 on your fast i5, tweaked medium with shadows on low and render quality at 50% should be no problem…

I'd say low-medium at 1366x768 is your best bet… Try low at 1600x900 with thr 5450… But if frame rates are not satisfactory, reduce the resolution to 1366x768 or 1280x800…

My old rig with Pentium D 3 GHz + GeForce 210 and 2 GB RAM did just fine on low… GeForce 210 is comparable to HD 4350… You also have a stronger CPU that meets recommended and RAM also meets the 3 GB recommended…

Minimum settings should give you playable fps at that resolution, meaning that you should have more than just 20 most of the time, but you may have drops in team fights.
Just don't play Invoker and you'll be fine :D

You can try max, but you may experience some drops in bigger fights because of your CPU. Medium should run very smoothly though :)
