DOTA 2 is available on PC
Co-op Game
DOTA 2 has a co-op mode so you can play with your mates on the same side, usually through the main story mode
Online Only
DOTA 2 can not be played without constant online access. This could be due to security reasons or because of the nature of the gameplay
MultiPlayer
DOTA 2 is designed to be played with other people or it is heavily bias towards that type of gameplay
Online Activation
DOTA 2 can not be played without first activating the game online. Once activated the game may be playable offline. If our Online Only button is also highlighted then you will need constant online access
Downloadable Content
DOTA 2 is intiailly released as a download. It is usually an expansion pack so check to see if you need a main game before getting this. DOTA 2 may be released in the shops at a later stage
Free Game
DOTA 2 is completely free to own. Possibly a browser based game. There may be an alternative means of generating revenue, perhaps in-game advertising or monthly subscription charges
Back of the Box
A Valve backed sequel to the very popular Warcraft 3 mod, Defense of the Ancients.
Confusingly, the official remake of the mod was called Heroes of Newerth and released earlier this year after a long Beta period. Heroes of Newerth and defense of the Ancients suffer from the incredibly steep learning curve and noob slamming. Our reviewer Squee reviewed Heroes of Newerth earlier this year and had a tough time as he was new to the game.
Valve are getting into the project to try and level the playing field with their player matching server skills.

High-max settings at 1366x768 resolution easily… In fact, GT 740M (even 64-bit version) can manage high-max on 1600x900 resolution even… Yes, this is multiplayer, but you can play offline against bots if you wish to practice… I play with 1 Mbps and have a decent experience (this game has a way way better net code than original DOTA)…

I'm not even sure since that GPU is for workstations and not really for gaming… Notebookcheck did manage get DOTA 2 up and running on some quadros but I think you would have to settle for 800x600 and lowest settings, no Vsync, no AA, no shadows, set render quality to 25%… Why not try the game since it is free anyway…?

GT 440 can easily run this game on 1280x720 or 1440x900 resolution on max settings with no AA and Vsync… Your CPU almost meets the recommended for this game…

Well seeing as how a GTS 450 can manage 60+ on max at 1080p and your GTX 750 ti approaches GTX 470 in performance (two and a half times GTS 450), why not…?

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with your rig…? I get 30-50 fps and 40 average on high at 1366x768… Granted, this game is extremely well optimized for Intel HD graphics, but your GPU, according to tomshardware, should max this game out at 1920x1200 easily…

This particular issues does not seem to affect integrated GPUs… My HD 4000 and HD 3000 on a cousin's Dell Inspiron 15 and HD i3 (1st gen) in another cousin's Lenovo G570 still perform the same as before…

Low settings, 25% render quality, no AA, no Vsync, no shadows, 800x600 resolution… Not sure about fps… It will indeed run but not sure about fps… This game is very well optimized for Intel integrated graphics but not AMD APUs… This game is free anyway so why not try it…?
