Full system requirements for Assassins Creed 3 reported on Sep-26-2012

Assassin's Creed III will be set through the period of the American Revolution, 1753 to 1783.
As a half-English, half-Native American you play as Connor Kenway. As is normal from the AC series the game will also feature the "present day" setting, where you get to be our regular 2012 character, Desmond Miles.

This is the final time out for Des, as you take him through his conclusive adventure to prevent the 2012 apocalypse. Lets take a look to see what the OFFICIAL Assassins Creed 3 System Requirements are like...

Assassins Creed 3 System Requirements

Assassins Creed Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista (SP2) / Windows 7 (SP1) / Windows 8

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT or AMD Radeon HD 3870

AUDIO: DirectX 9.0c-compliant (5.1 surround sound recommended)

DVD: Dual-layer drive

HDD: 17 GB of free hard disk space

OTHER: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)

Multiplayer: 256 kbps or faster broadband connection

AC3 Supported Video Cards:

AMD Radeon HD 3870 / 4000 / 5000 / 6000 / 7000 series or better

NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT / 9 / 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 600 series or better

Notes: Laptop versions of these cards may work, but are not supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

So what do you think? We reckon the minimum CPU might be a little high and are looking forward to hearing everyones feedback about whether they can run it or not.

Don't know. I even have AA down to normal setting. It sucks though. But my guess is maybe poor optimization on AMD CPU's. My laptop I have which has an i5-3210m and Radeon HD 7670m in it is able to play this game at normal settings with playable frames. Sucks, but I'm not worrying about it. Much more stuff out there to play :D

I'm rather surprised seeing as how you have an Intel CPU! But there you have it. More evidence as to what a poorly optimized game can do to a godly rig.
