As a half-English, half-Native American you play as Connor Kenway. As is normal from the AC series the game will also feature the "present day" setting, where you get to be our regular 2012 character, Desmond Miles.

Assassins Creed Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista (SP2) / Windows 7 (SP1) / Windows 8

CPU: 2.66 GHz Intel Core2 Duo E6700 or 3.00 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or better recommended

RAM: 2 GB (4 GB recommended)

GPU RAM: 512 MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant with Shader Model 4.0 or higher (see supported list)*

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT or AMD Radeon HD 3870

AUDIO: DirectX 9.0c-compliant (5.1 surround sound recommended)

DVD: Dual-layer drive

HDD: 17 GB of free hard disk space

OTHER: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, optional controller (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows recommended)

Multiplayer: 256 kbps or faster broadband connection

AC3 Supported Video Cards:

AMD Radeon HD 3870 / 4000 / 5000 / 6000 / 7000 series or better

Notes: Laptop versions of these cards may work, but are not supported. These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game.

Go for High settings, u will get playable FPS, maybe u'r FPS will be decrease about 5-7 while in Boston, btw this game has a bad optimization ;)

Well, what about Radeon R9 270X or GTX 760, these cards beetwen 230€, :)
Or u can get R9 280X on 290-300€.
Yeah, I suggest u for R9 280X for Next Gen gaming, butttt R9 270X and GTX 760 has a great perform too :D

Well, Normal Settings u can try on 1280x720, for 25-35 FPS ,,, this game is poorly optimized.

Hard to say if u want to get 60 FPS steady, cuz this game has a bad optimization, but I think u will able try it on High Settings on that res (1680x1050), ;)

U should able to play it Medium-High Settings, with 30-40 FPS (30 when in Boston), but dont worry, its playable for u mate ;), btw why u have a desktop GPU ? :)
