Prototype 2 is an action-adventure open world video game that was released for consoles on April 24, 2012. It was developed by Canadian studio Radical Entertainment and is the sequel to 2009's Prototype. The game was published by Radical Entertainment's owner, Activision. The game features a new protagonist, James Heller, as he goes on a quest to destroy the Blacklight virus. The story is also one of revenge, as Heller wants to kill Alex Mercer, protagonist of the original Prototype, after his family was killed in the outbreak of the Blacklight virus. The game was announced at the 2010 Spike VGA Awards with the tagline "Murder your Maker."

Prototype 2 came out for the consoles a few months back and the PC gamers have sat waiting paitently for it to come to the most powerful platform.

Lets take a look at what the Prototype 2 system requirements are going to look like...

Prototype 2 Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows® XP/Vista/7

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750

RAM: 2 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT series with 512 MB RAM or ATI Radeon HD 4850 with 512 MB RAM

DX: 9.0C or later

HDD: 10 GB Free Hard Drive Space

Input: Keyboard, Mouse, Xbox 360® Controller

Prototype 2 Recommended System Requirements

OS: 7

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.7 GHz or better, AMD Phenom II X4 3 GHz or better

Hello guys I play this game on ultra settings without AA with very good average frame rate 50+ but after some time of gameplay I have a lot of frame drops whatever settings I put in. Why is this happening?

I think I must share my little experience.
I preorderd this game and was verry happy to get that game. At that time I didnt know much about gpu etc. I had Nvidia gforce 210. The game didnt even started. Then my friend gave me a pirated copy though I said I have original still He insisted to install and gues what game started after that I reinstalled original copy and that game also started. So Can any1 tell me why this happened. And pls dont thumb me down. I didnt support piracy I have verry less money still I save and order verry few games. :)

maybe because of your cpu mate that is causing bottleneck and try to keep vsync off and other background app. off while playing games sometime get because of improper installation try to reinstall it :)
