Tomb Raider 2013
Fresh from academy and in search of lost relics, a 21-year-old Lara Croft journeys to an island off the coast of Japan aboard the Endurance, a salvage vessel helmed by Captain Conrad Roth. Before anchoring at bay, the ship is cleaved in two by an unforeseen storm leaving Lara separated from any other survivors and washed ashore. Don't max it with tressFX. If you run at ultra with no tesselation and TressFx then you can get 60+. With tesselation it will become 45+.

Make sure if you are using an Ati/Amd card, that you download the v1.0.722.3 update! And that you have gone to the Ati website to get the actual latest catalyst control center! (auto update wasn't detecting it)
Did this and it took SO much of the strain of Ultra Settings and DX11 features off of this game. Now you should be able to pump up all those settings and get a gorgeous smooth framerate!

I guess this game was badly optimized for nvidia cards and nvidia released beta drivers for this and only after that the performance was increased! Isn't it? o_O

Hi there. I don't think you can turn on DX11 because your GPU doesn't support it. Other than that, you can run this game at medium settings with some tweaks and no AA. 40+ FPS.

I don't know about 60FPS with TressFX and Ultra, you will probably get 45+ FPS with occasional drops to 30FPS.
To smooth things out, I would put the settings on High with TressFX. Make sure you have the latest beta drivers.

Are you kidding? He can get 60+ FPS for sure even 80+ FPS sometimes. His rig is much much powerful than a GTX 690 because of the overclock and the new drivers are very well optimized for nvidia. :)

TressFX is for AMD cards and PhysX is for nVidia cards (correct me if I'm wrong) and therefore using TressFX with nVidia GPUs would make your frames crumble to nearly nothing. Use PhysX if you can :) By the way, I'm not exactly sure if what I said is correct as the source of that info has been unreliable in the past :)

Yes it is correct but the thing is that nvidia GFX has special processor of its own for the physx of the game which is handled in amd systems by the processors (I mean the main processor) so thats why amd users can still use physx.

You may be able to run the game on all low settings and get about 30 fps. But I would suggest you skip it until you are able to upgrade your PC :/
