This first-person shooter brings the lawlessness of the Old West into present day. You’ll embark on a bloody road trip from Los Angeles to Juarez, Mexico immersing yourself in a gritty plot with interesting characters and a wide variety of game play options.
Experience the lawlessness of the modern wild west as you hunt down the Mendoza cartel in a world where the ends justify the means. Your hunt for the Cartel boss takes you on an epic road trip from a meth lab in the Sequoia national forest to the Cartel headquarters in Ciudad Juarez. With over 10 distinct environments including urban LA brothels and back streets, gritty boat docks, a swanky yacht party, the open deserts in Arizona and New Mexico, a Mexican funeral and more.

The latest system requirements News for Call of Juarez: The Cartel

Full system requirements for Call of Juarez: The Cartel reported on Jul-13-2011

It has just been confirmed that Call of Juarez The Cartel has slipped its release date from next week to the middle of September. The modern day western is one of the biggest releases of the next few months so this slip will land quite heavily on the shoulders of the PC gaming community. To rub salt in the wound it appears that consoles are likely to get the release on July 19th as planned.

To help ease the long wait, take a look at the Juarez Cartel system requirements and imagine how much nicer it will look and run on our PCs when we get it in September. Some may say that is a small and even petty consolation, but I will take that pill...

Call of Juarez The Cartel Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 2Ghz

RAM: 1GB for Windows XP / 2GB for Windows Vista or Win 7

GFX: DirectX 9.0c compatible - Nvidia 8800GT / ATI 3850

DX: 9.0c

HDD: 8GB Hard disk space free

AUDIO: DX 9.0c compatible

MULTI: 512kbs(broadband)

Call of Juarez The Cartel Recommended System Requirements

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 3Ghz or better

RAM: 2GB for Windows XP / 3GB for Windows Vista or Win 7

GFX: Nvidia GTX 260 / ATI 4870 or better

So, pretty hefty requirements. Another good looking game that we are keen to play.

That would be a good and well balanced setup. Just make sure your GPU cooling is sufficient and that your PSU can handle it

Can someone tell me if I'll be able to run this at all with at least 20 FPS? I'm starting with the first Call of Juarez, and would like to be able to play through all of the series, if it is as good as it's said to be. I know I don't meet minimum, but I'm curious,

You will be able to play this game on low - medium , but I suggest low and just lower the resolution a little bit and you can play it smoothly ;D
