Full system requirements for Dishonored reported on Aug-14-2012

Dishonored, Bethesda's next big title. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the Empress. Framed for her murder and driven by revenge, you must become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card.

Lets take a look at the Dishonored system requirements to see what sort of beast you will need to play it...

Dishonored Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: 3.0 GHz dual core or better

RAM: 4 GB system memory

GPU RAM: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or ATI Radeon HD 5850

HDD: 9 GB

Audio: Windows compatible sound card

Enhanced for: 64-bit multi-core

Dishonored Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: 2.4 GHz quad core or better

RAM: 4 GB system memory

GPU RAM: DirectX 9 compatible with 768 MB video RAM or better

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850

What do you think about those requirements? It seems the minimum GPU requirements are the same as the recommended requirements and they are pretty high. We have made some adjustments to the Dishonored system requirements tool to reflect our feelings on the specs, but obviously once you guys get your hands on a demo or the game, let us know the frame ratings you achieve with your particular system.

I would advise low-medium at 1280x720 and may be 40 fps… My HD 4000 manages full high settings at 40 fps but I have a vastly more powerful CPU (integrated graphics power depends on CPU power as well) and I also have 6 GB RAM running in flex mode dual channel whereas you have 2 GB (probably single channel)… I would advise you to get more RAM and dual channel it as it increases integrated GPU power…

If my Intel HD 4000 can run this game on high settings 40 fps at 1280x720 resolution, then he can too at 1366x768 as his HD 7640G is slightly more powerful… This is a stealth based slow paced game for which 25-30 fps is enough and my HD 4000 manages 40 fps on high at 1280x720…

FXAA
and just go for high with aa and you should be fine :) but will lag a bit though

Nope sorry… This game may be moderately demanding among 2012 games but you still need a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 X2 series CPU and at least a GeForce 210 or Radeon HD 4350… Your GPU is weaker than even those…

Agree… E8400 and GT 640 can max this game… But I would advise more RAM - it won't improve frame rates but will cut game load time in half (speaking from personal experience here)…
