@ HEAVENISHELL
i5-3210M with HD 4000 manages 44 fps average (overall 40-60) on high settings at 1280x720 and 60 constant on medium at 1366x768… GT 635M can max it out easily on 1366x768 while on the CPU and RAM side; i3-3217U and 3 GB RAM are enough for this game on max…

This game is noteworthy of having the highest performance Recommended Nvidia Graphics Card out of all other Source engine games, with it having a 5/10 Game Debate score. Its Recommended GeForce GT 630 beats L4D2's GeForce GT 230, TF2's GeForce 6800 Series 128MB, and Portal 2's GeForce 8600 GT, among other Source games.

The graphics of the game are comparable to MW3 at most and the system requirements are comparable or even slightly lower… If one can run MW2 and 3 comfortably, ditto for this game… Though I much prefer this game for multiplayer vs CoD…

Laptop GPUs come soldered onto the mobo and only a few enthusiast level ones come with the option to swap… Even for those you cannot put them onto a desktop as the mobo will be incompatible…

Medium-High settings should give you playable FPS. Since that is an experimental rig, I recommend getting something like a Radeon R9 270 for next gen games. However at that resolution it might be overkill.

What kind of rig is that…? Anyway, I laptop with GT 750M and any standard power i3 or up can manage 90+ fps in CS: GO even on 1920x1080 and x4 MSAA according to notebookcheck… As for desktop, this game is maxed out at 90 fps on 1920x1080 and x4 MSAA on a GTS 450 and 3 GHz Core 2 Duo and 3 GB RAM…

Thing is.. if u rly play counter-strike u want the feeling to be as much as 1.6 as possible.. therfor u'll go low settings anyway, i have both low res and low grafics even tho my computer can handle MAX settings with 250fps + :)

R7 260X can run this game on max detail settings 90-120 fps with x4 MSAA even on 1920x1080 according to notebookcheck… I honestly don't know what Simonh is talking about though - no way in hell normal human eyes can tell difference between fps once you cross 120)… I remember playing Halo CE spV2 mod on HD 4000 (another rig - not this one) and tried 1600x900 and 1280x720… I honestly could not tell the difference between 120 fps (1600x900) and 180 fps (1280x720)…

Intel HD 4600 on your i7 CPU alone can run this game on high at 1366x768 at 40-60 fps… According to notebookcheck.net GTX 850M manages 90 fps average on max at 1920x1080 with x4 MSAA… So your GTX 860M will do even better… Have fun…

Notebookcheck managed a 90 fps average on 1920x1080 on a GTS 450 and GTX 650 is about 20% more powerful… I think 120 fps would be a more reasonable expectation but why don't you try and see what happens… But there should be no doubt that GTX 650 can max this with very smooth fps… You can also try max without AA (notebookcheck used x4 MSAA) and see what kind of fps you get…
