I Spy Spooky Mansion is a search and find PC game created in 1999 by Scholastic based on the I Spy books. In the game the player is locked in a haunted mansion. They search the various rooms of the mansion for the objects specified on the bottom of the screen. Once all of the objects in an area have been found, a skeleton (which is actually the almost whispered narrator voice you hear in every puzzle) appears and awards the player with a puzzle piece. Once the player has collected all of the puzzle pieces, they may combine them to find instructions leading to the final game, which is a matching game. Once the matching game is complete, the player must ask the "Get-Out Ghost", a large transparent skeleton, for help. The Get-Out Ghost propels the player out the chimney of the mansion, and the game is over.
