The game begins as the Drengin continue tearing each other apart to decide whether the rest of the galaxy should be destroyed or merely enslaved. Little did the two warring factions know that they were being pushed and pulled by the Dread Lords who had retreated to the shadows to regroup for their next assault. Meanwhile, one lone human ship manages to escape the galactic scale massacre and run across one of the Arnor, a race thought fully extinct at the hands of the Dread Lords. The Arnor tell the humans that in order to have any chance of destroying the Dread Lords, they'll have to collect all of the crystals the race uses to manufacture their fleets and destroy them in a supernova...."
