I used to ply this roughly 25 fps, but in crowded areas it became laggy, but a great game :) with a nice community

having played this game for quite some time.... i stopped shortly after the mirkwood expansion since the game seemed to have followed the path of WoW with the quests carrying the same basis (get a bunch of this... kill a ton of that).. having said that.. it was a fun game while it had my attention
FYI I played on Nimrodel and my main toon was a Captain... Gilantran... lol

Saw the trailer for this, it was almost laughable. LOTRO was fun while I played it, but it certainly didn't seem like even an LOTR based game. P.S. Save MERP! ;)

Fantastic. They're doing a fine job, first butchering the books with the movies, and then butchering the movies with several games including this one. I pray that when the zombie apocalypse begins that a Tolkien-zombie comes to destroy all those who sullied his great masterpieces.
