Back of the Box
Starcraft 2 is split into three games, each one representing a playable faction.
Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Legions of veteran, upgraded, and brand-new unit types will do battle across the galaxy, as each faction struggles for survival.
Heart of the Swarm features The Zerg
Composed of many different species integrated into the Swarm via zerg infestation. These creatures are rapidly and selectively evolved into deadly and efficient killers to further the driving zerg imperative of achieving absolute domination. The zerg make no use of technology to create their weapons, armor, or starships. Instead, these functions are efficiently fulfilled through biological adaptation and planned mutation of the zerg strains. Even zerg buildings are in fact specialized organs within the living, growing organism of a zerg nest.

Full system requirements for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm reported on Jan-07-2013

Starcraft II is a little game you might have heard of, particularly if you follow the pro gaming leagues. The latest addon for Starcraft II, entitled Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, is due out in March.

The Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm system requirements are below, so read on and let's see if you can run it...

no. according to notebookcheck, your graphics card will get 25 fps on ultra with 1080p. given that your screen is smaller than that, i would say that you will get around 30 fps. with high graphics you should get at least 60fps however.

As i see i think your GFX can handle that at minimum
but your processor seems really weak for the task.
I can say you mighnot get much playable framerate :)
try it maybe and best of luck.

I played the game. Runs well on a single core. Everything on low. Has a steady 20-35 fps until battles, which drops to 10+. :) I guess I'm lucky. :D

yeah, it should run quite smoothly on low. You probably can run it reasonably well most of the time on Medium.

I had this same issue with wings of liberty, it recommends me for all max settings but when I put on max, the game runs really badly, i was wondering if its due to optimization issues or does this game have higher requirements then I was thinking?

You should be able to max this easily. It is possible it isn't working well with 8 processor cores. Try setting affinity to 4 cores.
