Gunswords, booty (of the gold and jewels kind!) and a cute outfit? All in a day’s work. Play as the gorgeous gunsword-wielding treasure hunter Ayumi as she carves a path of destruction through a mysterious and dangerous island. While rich with bounty, the island is also caught in the throes of Chaos magic. Ayumi soon discovers that it is also the home of thousands of long-held secrets, including special powers and abilities that she can gain for herself. Using everything she can, she must find a way to defeat armies of menacing villains and a multitude of treacherous traps in order to break free of the possessed island’s grasp. With a host of colorful characters, eye-popping visual appeal, tons of treasure and a huge variety of combat skills to master, Blades of Time will satisfy gamers’ hunger for an entertaining yet deep action game that even gamers new to the hack-and-slash genre will enjoy.

tried the game for about hmm 30 min and well…hated it. the most irritating reason was voice acting! its just terrible, ruined the whole game. game play wise its enjoyable, but i just coudnt continue because of that, emotionless voice acting with stupid text. which is stupid imo.
Just bought Blades of Time after finishing X-Blades and I'm just curious according to the game for sure I can max out the settings at 1366x768 but would it be necessary to turn off v-sync for performance or will it not make a difference since this game seems to be not that demanding? It was on by default but I have a friend that has a laptop GPU thats a little better than mine and some games lagged until he turned off v-sync in the settings.
So you'd prefer to stare at a big muscle bound male character the entire time? I'll take a female lead any day. The problem with THIS particular game is that she just absolutely will NOT shut up ever. They made the damn character an incessant chatterbox, which is ridiculous and annoying because she spends 97% of that time talking to herself.
