Sam is back in his ops suit and goggles, and he’s more lethal and agile than ever. Granted the freedom to do whatever it takes to stop the Blacklist, Sam flies from exotic locales to US cities as he races against the clock to find out who’s behind this devastating threat.

Full system requirements for Tom Clancys Splinter Cell: Blacklist reported on Jul-18-2013

You guys should have already seen our Splinter Cell: Blacklist Hands On that we got with the game, but we only managed to play the game on console at that point. It looked pretty good on console, as you would expect from Ubi, but didn't give enough to go on when considering the almost limitless boundaries of the PC.

Luckily we've picked up some system specs to help you see how well you might be able to run the next Splinter Cell. So let take a look at the Splinter Cell: Blacklist System Requirements...

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E6400 2.13GHz or AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 5600+

RAM: 2GB System Memory

GPU RAM: 512MB Graphics Memory

GPU: GeForce 8800 GT or ATI Radeon HD 3870

DX: DirectX 9.0c

Overall a fairly routine set of min requirements. The 8800 GT is present as always, and the dual core 2.0+ GHz is a very common baseline. They do want 512MB of Graphics RAM though, so if you're running on older cards make sure you have enough! No news on Blacklists hard drive space requirement, at this point.

We still anticipate more information on Blacklist system requirements as we get ever closer to its release date at the end of next month, August 20/23rd. We will aim to follow up with one of our benchmark analysis of Blacklist as well, once we get some more hands on.

Splinter Cell Blacklist will see the return of Sam Fisher as he strives to save America, as part of the newly created Fourth Echelon strike group. Skilled players will be able to make their way through the missions without spilling a drop of blood, or even letting anyone know you were ever there.

UPDATE - Here is the latest trailer as well

You can run on high/tweaked high settings! :D This game is incredibly well optimized, quite a rarity from Ubisoft. Have fun. :)

full resolution, texture- med, all other settings low, set vsync off and you should go well .. :) but i must say you cpu is bottlenecking your gpu .. if you still get lag in the setting i mentioned, try lowering the resolution :) thanks :)

There will be no bottlenecking with that current setup. Changing CPU won't get you better graphics settings. What I would say to do is run the game at 1280x720 resolution and do tweaked high settings for playable frames (30+)
