Just picked this up for £13 from Blockbusters, amazing deal.  The bloke behind the counter reckons it's the gaming equivalent of classic shlock horror Event Horizon.  Frankly, if the game starred Laurence Fishburne, it would already be an essential purchase.  Gonna make some popcorn and settle down with a spare change of underwear...

Haha, you crack me up. Had I known, I would have sent you a copy to review. Dead Space turned out exactly as I expected. It was blood and gore-tastic but my nimble fingers were hampered by the slow screen when turning and moving about. Was that because I greedily put the settings too high or did you find it happen as well? Cant quite remember but I am sure i tried lowering them...

Hmm, slow turning probably not the best thing in a game where grotesque creatures want to make acquaintance with your liver.  Didn't get the chance to play it last night, thanks to the beer I had earlier in the night.  The only game I could go near was good old Singstar...
