Is it normal to have 75 c gpu temperature and about 65-70c cpu temperature when playing crysis2?
Also what are the idle CPU/GPU temperature on load?

I googled it ,My idle CPU's temp is higher than the normal temps mentioned on intel's site but my CPU doesn't overshoot the maximum.I'm thinking about applying the PRIME95 test to see my maximum temperature.

The GPU temp is normal, what cooler are you using on the CPU?

That's what I thought. It isn't enough. Well I take that back, it is ENOUGH, but it isn't going to keep it cool. I recommend getting a third party fan.

Man@Abd1996, If you use a aftermath cpu cooler[from cooler master] then your cpu temperature will drop significantly as it is better than stock cooler. Does your pc makes noise when playing games?

@zerohour,In my country it's hard to find such hardware. Is it safe to play without installing a third party cooler?

0
ZeroHour060
06:08 Oct-15-2014

I'm going to say no. The max temp for your processor is 67C, but you are getting temps of 75C.

What is going to happen is your CPU will degrade a lot faster. I'd say do VERY light gaming for only an hour or so and then let the computer take a break for a while. Get a third party fan when you can!

I read that when gaming intel's processors can reach 90C and it still safe. Also what do you mean by "degrade a lot faster"?do you mean in performance?

0
ZeroHour060
06:32 Oct-15-2014

Degrade meaning death. Your specific CPU's max temp is 67C BEFORE it begins to burn up. It won't be instant. It takes a while.

well looks like ivy have some problems to keep temps low with stock coolers. try to take any cooler around 20 dolars, its much better then stock. i use xigmatek loki and on prime95 max temp after 1 h testing is 41C. but my cpu not produce a lot heat. u can post some link from locale store, i tell u what cooler can be good for you.

if u have some money take some mobo around 40-50 euro, best option is go on some 1155 socket and take cpu G540 or something close to that, put new ddr3 4 gb ram that yours 7750 and u will be very happy. Dont invest any more in that old 775 socket mobo.
