The player takes the role of taxi driver Thomas (Tommy) Angelo, who, while trying to make a living on the streets of Lost Heaven, unexpectedly and unwillingly becomes involved in organized crime as a driver for the Salieri crime family, led by Don Salieri. Through the events of the game's story, Tommy begins to rise through the ranks of the Salieri 'family', which is currently battling the competing Morello family, led by the sharply-dressed Don Morello. Eventually becoming disillusioned by his life of crime and violence, Tommy arranges to meet a detective (Detective Norman) in order to tell him his story, to be given witness-protection, and to aid the detective in the destruction of the Salieri crime family. The 'Intermezzo' chapters of the game depict Tommy sitting in a cafe with the detective, relating his life story and giving out important pieces of information at the same time.

Can anyone pls tell me what the hell happened to my game soo i started with game.exe normally but then it was just black screen and nothing i couldnt hear and see soo whats the problem i tried every graphics option but no help :( :( pls help me i want to play this ol good game.

try running as admin if that doesn't work try rebooting and running as admin and if that doesn't work ensure you are on latest drivers

OH I forgot also update all drivers and make sure your computer has no software that cancels it out.. because it happens with lots of thing in example : I had a game called Rugby 2001 And it had soem .dat files that made google chrome corrupt.......

This was the first game i ever played on PC and got me into PC gaming. I had many hours of fun in free run and lots of money from killing gangsters. Cant wait for Mafia III

Oh and you have a very small screen resolution.. is your computer a netbook? because not all netbooks can play games.. My cousin cant play games on her netbook she tryed to play black ops but it wouldnt work
